These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to all ticket purchases and attendance at this event organised by The Independent English Wine Awards (IEWA). By purchasing a ticket and/or attending, you agree to these T&Cs.
1. Tickets & Entry
Tickets are sold via the IEWA webshop and third part sellers Eventbrite and headfirst, and are valid only for the session purchased.
Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation by the organiser (see Section 6).
Tickets may not be resold for profit or commercial gain.
Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket purchase email and proof of age (see Section 2).
2. Age Restrictions
This is a strictly 18+ event.
ID may be requested on entry - no ID, no entry, no refund.
3. Responsible Drinking
Samples are provided in small tasting measures only.
We operate a strict ‘drink responsibly’ policy. Anyone deemed to be intoxicated, disruptive, or acting inappropriately will be refused service and/or asked to leave without refund.
No open alcohol may be taken off-site.
4. What’s Included
Ticket price includes entry to the tasting session, a tasting glass (to be returned at the end), and access to all participating producers.
Food may be available for purchase separately.
Wine for off-site consumption may be on sale from some of the wine producers.
5. Accessibility
The Averys wine merchants' venue has level access from Frogmore Street, but the historic cellar has a classic slate/cobble floor that is uneven in places. There is an accessible toilet. Please contact us in advance for wheelchair spaces or specific requests. For general accessibility questions contact our events team at: events@iewa.uk.
6. Cancellation / Changes
If the event is cancelled, ticket holders will receive a full refund.
If the event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date.
The organiser reserves the right to alter the lineup of participating producers, timings, or programme details without notice.
7. Photography & Filming
Professional photography and filming may take place during the event. By attending, you consent to being photographed/filmed and for images to be used in future IEWA marketing and media.
8. Liability
The organiser accepts no responsibility for personal property.
Attendees are responsible for their own safety and behaviour.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
